Going to the Whistle Stop Cafe in Juliette, GA (where the movie was filmed) is one of my favorite little road trips. This book brought back all of those fun memories. I loved the narrator. She had the perfect southern accent for me to enjoy.
I have to admit I have never seen the movie so I do not know how similar they are. But my love for fried green tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe grows after reading this treasure of a book.
