The Christmas Train by Daivd Baldacci

Location: Cross country train ride (many states) Type: Ebook

Timeline: Linear with memories Genre: Fiction/Christmas

Narration: 3rd person

Review:

Stars: 4

Nothing says Christmas to me more than trains and snow. This novel lacks neither. However, I didn't get too much holiday feel until the very end. This book has mystery, romance, peril, and adventure. It was a quick, sweet read.

Have you expierenced issues with TSA before (even if you weren't banned)?

Tom followed in his famous ancestors footsteps and became a writer, although much different than Mark Twain.

Have you, or someone in your family, followed in the footsteps of an ancestor in career choice?

Do you have a famous ancestor?

Have you ever had your fortune read (tarot cards, palm reading, etc.)?

What was accurate?

What was not?

Tom shows a great amount of jealousy when Lelia has an appointment with Erik. Tom ruins the appointment and Erik runs away.

Why was he so jealous when he clearly had feelings for another woman?

Were his actions justified?

Eleanor told Tom he ran from her. He didn't realize it but finally says he understood what she was saying.

What was Tom running from?

Was it just a misunderstanding and missed opportunity or was he truly running?

Agnes Jo turned out to be a detective and Father Kelley was the thief.

Did you guess this before it was revealed?

Did you like this addition to the story or what is unnecessary?

John Conroy, AKA Father Kelley, gave all the items back or paid value for them. Even Agnes Jo couldn't decide if he should be punished or not.

Do you think they should turn him over to the police?

Or give him a second chance and sneek him off the train?

What are your opinions of Max?

What do you think of his elaborate plan to help Eleanor's love life?
