This was hard for me to listen to. Very sad. Very graphic. I am glad I did not live in the world before the civil rights movement, but it is difficult to hear the events people suffered through. This story was heart breaking. So much so I almost didn't finish it. But I am glad I did. The twist towards the end was worth the wait.
